We are in the early stages of securing agreements with several universities in Australia. If you want to apply to a university there, please contact a counsellor – we can likely help you or point you in the right direction.

Australia is home to internationally prestigious, research-led universities, several of which are ranked among the world’s top-100. In fact, 15% of Australia’s universities sit in the world’s top-100 – the highest percentage of any country. The qualifications they award are recognised and respected by employers and universities worldwide.

Australian universities offer courses in a huge range of subjects at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Most also offer specialised courses that are relevant to the region and culture, including life and environmental sciences, mining, marine biology, sports subjects, Asian languages and indigenous history and culture.

Contact teaching hours are higher than in many countries, and the teaching culture is considered to be relaxed and informal, with academic staff both accessible and approachable. Universities are very focused on the student experience, and consistently rank highly in this area compared to those elsewhere.

The academic year begins in February and finishes in November. The first semester runs from February to June and the second from July to November. Almost all courses can be started in February, and many can also be started in July.

Living costs vary greatly depending on where you study, with Sydney the most expensive and on par with the likes of London and New York, but regional towns cost considerably less. International students find the relaxed lifestyle and opportunities to explore the outdoors (from beaches to ski mountains to tropical rainforests) major attractions.

Universities we cover

Our list of partner universities in Australia is in the process of being established. However, if you have a particular Australian university in mind but you don’t see it here that doesn’t mean we can’t help you apply to that university. We can and we will – and there’s no charge. Just contact one of our student counsellors for details.
